1. What services does Terrigal Private Chef offer?

Terrigal Private Chef specializes in providing personalized culinary experiences in the comfort of your own home or chosen venue. Our services include private dining, intimate dinners, special occasion catering, cooking classes, long stays, in home chefs, weddings, events, corporate functions, food styling, boat and yacht catering.   We pride ourselves on creating amazing experiences no matter the brief or clients need.

2. How do I book a private chef with Terrigal Private Chef?

Booking with us is easy. Simply visit our website or contact us directly via phone or email. We'll discuss your requirements, preferences, and any special requests you may have. Once we have all the details, we'll work with you to finalize the booking with a tailored menu and customised event that suits you and your guests.

3. Can I customize the menu for my event?

Absolutely!  We pride ourselves on creating tailored menus to suit your taste preferences, dietary requirements, and the occasion. Whether you're craving a specific cuisine or have dietary restrictions, our chefs will work with you to craft the perfect menu.

4. What types of cuisines do you offer?

Our chefs are skilled in a wide range of cuisines, including but not limited to Italian, French, Asian, Mediterranean, Modern Australian, and more. Whatever your preference, we have the expertise to deliver delicious dishes that will impress your guests.

5. Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, we're committed to accommodating various dietary needs and allergies. Whether you require vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other dietary options, simply let us know in advance, and our chefs will create suitable dishes for you and your guests.

6. How far in advance should I book your services?

We recommend booking our services as early as possible to ensure availability, as our service is in high demand we would suggest a six to 8 week lead in time particularly for weekend bookings.  We understand that last-minute events can arise, so feel free to contact us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.  

7. What is the pricing structure for Sydney Private Chef's services?

Our pricing depends on factors such as the number of guests, menu selections, location, and additional services requested.  Average pricing is as follows for 3 course plated or shared menu:

Above 30 POA

Between 12 to 30 roughly $150 a head +GST

Between 8 to 12 roughly $165 a head +GST

6 to 8 roughly $175 a head +GST

4 to 6 roughly $185 a head +GST

1 to 4 menu cost (degustation $275 +GST or 3 course $150 +GST)+ chef day rate of $550 +GST

8. Can I hire multiple chefs for a larger event 

Yes, we can arrange for multiple chefs and kitchen staff to cater to larger gatherings or events with specific requirements. Just let us know the details of your event, and we'll ensure everything is coordinated seamlessly.

9. Are there any additional services available?

In addition to private dining experiences, we also can provide waitstaff, bar staff and bar tenders.  We also offer hire table ware such as glass ware, plates, cutlery, napery, table settings and styling.  Please let us know on booking what additional services you may require. 

10. How do I pay for Terrigal Private Chef's services 

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash payments. A deposit is required upon booking, with the remaining balance due on or before the event date. We'll provide you with all the necessary payment details during the booking process.

 11. Where is the food prepared.

Terrigal Private Chef prepares all our food is a council approved commercial kitchen, our chefs are all trained in food safety and we take great pride in offering you the safest food.
